Laura loves movies so much that she decided to make one. In 2023 she wrote, directed and starred in her first short film, Itty Bitty Betty.

She is an improviser, sketch comedian and clown. Laura has trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Groundlings, and The Idiot Workshop in Los Angeles. Despite this bio being so humorless, she’s hilarious.

Originally from North Vancouver, her BFA at Concordia brought her to Montreal but she is happy to travel home when she can.

Outside of performance, Laura draws comics under the alias Lora Bart.
