BIO
After graduating from the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique de Québec in 2004, Martin Perreault immediately became interested in direction. He has directed several actors in preparation for their entrance exams for theater schools. He has more than fifty productions to his credit and currently directs professional actors in preparation for a series or film. He taught theater performance students at Cégep de St-Hyacinthe and at Ateliers Danielle Fichaud for over 12 years. He now teaches at Les Muses, a school for neurodivergent professional artists, and at PLAN LARGE, a school he co-founded with influential people in the field. In addition to his passion for teaching, you may have seen him as an actor on various stages in Quebec and Ontario, including Théâtre du Trident, Le Périscope, Premier Acte, Espace Libre, the NAC, and the Grand Théâtre de Québec, or on screen in numerous series such as Yamaska, L'Auberge du Chien Noir, Sur-Vie, STAT, and soon in the series Alertes. You can also hear his voice on various media, as he has experience in narration, dubbing, and voice-overs. In addition to teaching and acting, Martin has also worked in animation for a Radio-Canada television program and as a columnist for the program Aubaines et Cie on the V télé channel.
